| Description |
English: Hazelden Printworks The outline of the former Hazelden Printworks' pond is the only remaining indication that there was a print works situated here on the Earn Water. The Hazelden works were established as a bleachfield around 1820 and was carrying-out calico (cotton cloth) printing by 1846. By around 1900 silk printing was being carried-out however work declined due to competition from the far east and the works closed. |
