| Description |
English: Hazel Allen Jewellers, Scarffes Entry, Omagh. Amongst other products, it sells Galantas Gold which is mined locally and is the only gold mine in Ireland. Scarffes entry used to be very narrow in width and motorists risked getting their cars scratched from buckles on large leather school-bags by passing school children. At that time there was no footpath and surprisingly enough the traffic was two-way. There was once a large stone placed at the corner at the junction with High Street. This was to bounce the wheels of horse-drawn carriages back from the wall.
