English: Harriet
Prominently in the centre-left mid-ground is the Harriet (Harriet 1793 [American]), shown starboard-quarter, her ensign bearing the flag of 13 American States of 1777 to 1795. To the right is a small sailing boat with 4 men and one woman sailing on to shore where an upright man gestures in their general direction to a man sitting on a log in the right foreground. Two Dutch vessels flank the scene from the distance. The scene may represent Amsterdam.
