A reach of gently rolling meadow, Whereon the nibbling flocks do stray, sloping to the cool borderof a brook which loi-ters here and there to catch the sunlight as it fallsthrough openings in the overhanging foliage,its mantle of closely cropped verdure fittingit so smoothly as to reveal every undulation,and offering a surface texture upon which thevery shadows of the trees delight to rest, isalways a revelation of innocent contentment.It always brings a sense of restfulness andpeace.
