Summary[edit]

Description
English: A bronze sculpture depicting Hanuman in a tale from the Ramayana (19th century, South India; accession no. 1922,1020.4). Hanuman is shown holding the mountain of medicinal herbs he gathered in the Himalayas to heal Lakshmana who had been injured. The sculpture was on display in an exhibition called Treasures of the World from The British Museum at the National Museum of Singapore from 5 December 2015 to 29 May 2016.
