Summary[edit]

Description A Vila Maranhão, na zona rural de São LuÃ-s, capital do Maranhão, cerca de 67 casas estão correndo o risco de ser despejadas por conta da proximidade com a ferrovia Transnordestina. As moradias tem entre 5 e 30 anos de existência e a empresa para facilitar os despejos abriu processos individuais. A defensoaria pública da união está tentando juntar todos em uma Ação Civil Pública, mas ainda não teve sucesso. Alguns processos individuais, já foram suspensos pela justiça. A ferrovia liga o porto do Itaqui, em São Luis aos portos de Pecém e Mucuripe no Ceará e tem 1190 km.
