kv #^ V: •• In the same enclosure is a stone inscribed asfollows : — Sacred to the memory of MRS. ABIGAIL widow of thelate Rev. Adoniram Judson who died Jan. 31, 1842, aged 82years. Her hope was in the Gospel of our Lord and SaviourJesus Christ. She felt the balm and efficacy of those leaveswhich are for the healing of the nations. A guilty weak and helpless worm, On thy kind arms I fallBe thou my guide and righteousness My Jesus and my all. A few steps along the path northward from theJudson lot, and we come to a rough boulder on whichis carved the name of Thomas Russell, and the datesSept. 26, 1825, and Feb. 9, 18S7. Judge Russell wasfor many years president of the Pilgrim Society andtook an active interest in the history of the old town.It is fitting that his earthly remains should find aresting-place in this ground. Under the shadow of the Bradford monument, notmany feet away, is a blue slate stone with this inscrip-tion : — Here lies the body of ye honorable Major William
