Summary[edit]

Description
English: These images were taken by Thomas T. Hammond during his trip to the Soviet Union. This specific image features women working on digging the ground. // The photo was, probably, taken in Revolution Square; the yellow building will be soon demolished to make way for Moskva Hotel expansion. 13 years after the end of the war, men are still scarce, and women have to work hard to survive.
