Summary[edit]

Description Haldon House, Devonshire. The seat of Sir Lawrence Palk, Bart., to whom this plate is respectfully inscribed by the proprietors. Drawn by C.B. Campion; engraved by Henry "Wills" (?). London, published by R. Jennings & W. Chaplin, 62 Cheapside". (Published in "History of Devonshire...1830"). Demolished 1920s. The "Lawrence Tower" or "Haldon Belvedere" is visible on the hilltop behind left
