English: Haemophilus influenzae is a bacterium that can cause various infections, including respiratory tract infections. Chocolate agar is a type of growth medium commonly used to culture and isolate fastidious organisms like Haemophilus influenzae.Haemophilus influenzae on chocolate agar after 24 hours of incubation at 37°C in presence of 5 % CO2 is showing a smooth, low convex, grayish colony as shown in the above picture.
