Nederlands: Fotoreproductie van een tekening uit ca. 1760. Het origineel (192 x 269 mm.) bevindt zich in het Koninklijk Huisarchief (Atlas Munniks van Cleef, nr. 681). Op de achterzijde van de foto is de volgende toelichting geplakt: "Het komt mij (L. Rouppe van der Voort) voor, dat de toren de noordelijke toren is van de Veldpoort. Het punt van waaruit men kijkt zou de Zandweg kunnen zijn. Vermoedelijk gaat de toren van de N.H. Kerk schuil achter de toren of de daarachter getekende bossages. Tussen het huisje geheel rechts kijkt men dan in de verte op de toren achter van der Meeren, die het dichtst bij de Veldpoort stond en in 1845 verdween. Op de plaats, waar het huisje met de luifel staat zou men thans de smederij van van Hoogendoorn moeten denken. Boven de Veldpoort uit steekt waarschijnlijk een hoge gevel uit van de Veldpoortstraat. "
