Summary[edit]

Description
English: At Cape Evans on Ross Island Antarctica, the Cross at Wind Vane Hill stands in remembrance of fallen members of Shackleton's Ross Sea Party in 1916. In the background is the Barne Glacier and Terra Nova Hut, erected by Robert Falcon Scott in 1911, and used again by Shackleton's Ross Sea Party in 1915-1917.
