Summary[edit]

Description A U.S. Navy Sikorsky HH-3A Sea King (BuNo 147144) from Helicopter Combat Support Squadron HC-7 Sea Devils practicing the rescue of a downed aviator. HC-7 helicopters in combat were fully camouflaged. 147144 was a former XHSS-2 prototype, later used as an RH-3A minesweeping helicopter (see towing gear). HC-7 was active in Vietnam from 1967 to 1973.
