Summary

[edit]
Description

"The Piasecki H-25 helicopter saw limited service with the Army as an interim transport vehicle. . . After initial use and evaluation, it was determined that the 'Army Mule' was not quite large enough nor versatile enough to fulfill the Army's transport requirements. . . The H-25 was the last series helicopter in the Army to seat the pilot on the left, with all subsequent models in the Army inventory positioning the pilot on the right..." from Army Aviation Museum placard

The H-25 was replaced by the H-21 Shawnee
