Español: En China existe una leyenda que dice que el descubrimiento del gusano de seda fue hecho por una antigua emperatriz llamada Xi Ling-Shi. Se dice que mientras tomaba el té bajo una morera de su jardín en el palacio real, algo cayó a su taza de té (un capullo de gusano de seda). Cuando quiso sacarlo, éste se deshilachó y ella, como era una tejedora por excelencia, lo tomó y empezó a tejer con él. Este secreto de la seda no fue difundido fuera de China, ya que era algo excepcional, guardándose muy bien ese secreto hasta aproximadamente 1500 años después de su descubrimiento. |
