KISSEL SETH LOW The American Museum of Natural History was established in 1869 to promotethe Natural Sciences and to diffuse a general knowledge of them among the people, andit is in cordial cooperation with all similar institutions throughout the world. The Museumauthorities are dependent upon private subscriptions and the dues from members for pro-curing needed additions to the collections and for carrying on explorations in Americaand other parts of the world. The membership fees are, Annual Members $ 10 Fellows. Life Members 100 Patrons. $ 5001000 All money received from membership fees is used for increasing the collections andfor developing the educational work of the Museum. The Museum is open free to the public on every day in the year.
