Description
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr. Károly Guckler (1858–1923) chief forester, director of the Budapest forestry office. He initiated the renewal of the forest area of the Buda hills and the afforestation of the sandy soils of Pest. The plaque was placed on a rock formation next to the hiking trail that bears his name. It was unveiled on November 20, 2018, during the inauguration of the educational trail. (Budapest District III, Guckler Károly Street)
Français : Plaque commémorative à M. Károly Guckler (1858–1923) forestier en chef, directeur du bureau forestier de Budapest. C'est lui qui a initié le renouvellement de l'espace forestier des collines de Buda et le boisement des sols sableux de Pest. La plaque a été apposée sur une formation rocheuse à côté du sentier de randonnée qui porte son nom. Elle a été dévoilée le 20 novembre 2018, lors de l'inauguration du sentier éducatif. Magyar: Guckler Károly (1858–1923) főerdőmester, a fővárosi erdészeti hivatal vezetőjének emléktáblája, a róla elnevezett sétaút mellett álló, nevét viselő sziklaképződményen. Ő kezdeményezte a budai hegyvidék erdőterületének megújítását, a pesti homoktalajok erdősítését. Felavatva 2018. november 20-án, a felújított tanösvény atadásakor.
