Grunsfeld and Feustel during EVA5

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Astronauts John Grunsfeld (left) and Andrew Feustel, both STS-125 mission specialists, participate in the mission's fifth and final session of extravehicular activity (EVA5) to refurbish and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope. During the seven-hour and two-minute spacewalk on May 18, 2009, Grunsfeld and Feustel replaced batteries, removed and replaced a Fine Guidance Sensor, and installed three thermal blankets (NOBLs) to protect Hubble's electronics.
