Description Grumman F8F-1 (BuNo 95320) used by CDR Harry E. Cook Jr as Air Group Commander for AG-19 on the USS BOXER, The photos that I took of this plane at NAS Alameda on June 2, 1947 have been the basis for the art work on a plastic kit box and the painting of Howard Pardue's Bearcat as well as the one on exhibit at the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola.
