Description
Nederlands: 17e eeuwse gevelsteen van brouwerij Het Witte Kruis met kruis, paard en wagen en schip (soort kogge, vaak uitgelegd als 'kluinkof') in de gevel van Kleine Pelsterstraat 2 (zat tot een brand in 1943 in de zijgevel van Herestraat 73). De bovenste twee afbeeldingen zijn verloren gegaan. De brouwerij zat volgens een omschrijving aan de andere zijde van de straat op de hoek met de Herestraat in het wijde deel (daarna aldaar nog lange tijd in de zijgevel van Hotel Baulig), was in handen van Warmolt Roelefs en zijn zoon Jacobus Warmolts en werd gesloten rond 1771. In de brouwerij werd kluinbier gebrouwen. Een andere(?) brouwerij met de naam Het Witte Paard was in de 17e eeuw gevestigd op het Schuitendiep 74.
