Description
English: A Greek Cretan soldier who fought the Bulgarians, standing with rifle and Greek flag in the background. A 1912 Campaign greek stamp (issued in 1913) is afixed on the card and cancelled at Moudron, Limnos post office.
Ελληνικά: Έλλην αντάρτης ωπλησμένος (sic) με λάφυρα βουλγάρων.
Français : Insurge Hellene arme de fusils saisis des ennemis bulgares.
Ελληνικά: Ολόσωμη αναμνηστική φωτογραφία ενός αγωνιστή από την Κρήτη, αγνώστων λοιπών στοιχείων. Η φωτογραφία έχει τραβηχτεί σε εσωτερικό χώρο φωτογραφείου. Ο φωτογραφιζόμενος έχει τοποθετηθεί μπροστά από παραβάν και εν μέσω αντικειμένων που αναπαριστούν στοιχεία του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος. Χαρακτηριστική η ελληνική σημαία, αλλά και το θέμα του γραμματοσήμου, το οποίο απεικονίζει έναν αετό που κρατάει στο στόμα του ένα φίδι.
