| Description |
English: This mask-like head of a woman was made as a votive dedication for a sanctuary. The goddess represented is probably Persephone, also known as Kore. The almost exaggerated smile, the delicate modeling of the cheeks, and the protruding eyes that enhance the figure's animated expression are characteristics of the advanced Archaic style. |
