English: Great North Museum: Hancock The Hancock Museum was closed between 23 April 2006 and 23 May 2009 for refurbishment and new build costing £26 million. As The Great North Museum, it now includes not only the Hancock Museum collections, but also those of the University's Museum of Antiquities and the Shefton Museum Hancock_Museum
The photo shows the rear yard of Farrells' new gallery building 1759770 which adjoins the old Hancock building to the left 1759630 On the right, is the Devonshire Building of Newcastle University 1760306.
