Summary[edit]

Description
English: Grave of the victims of the Aer Lingus crash of 10 January 1952. This is the grave of 12 people killed on 10th January, 1952 when the Aer Lingus Douglas DC-3 Dakota 'St Kevin' enroute from Northolt to Dublin flying over Snowdonia in atrocious weather was caught in a downdraft and crashed into a peat bog in Cwm Edno (grid reference SH6652). The victims are buried in the new cemetery across the road from Llanbeblig Church. A further 11 bodies were never recovered.
