Description
English: The stele mentions the various religious activities carried out by king Nabonidus. It also mentions the harassment of enemies to the city of Babylon and its surrounding cities; the renovation of these cities by him; as well as homage paid to Gods welling in them. From Mesopotamia, modern-day Iraq. Neo-Babylonian period, 555-539 BCE. Ancient Orient Museum/Istanbul Archeological Museums, Turkey.
