Description
Deutsch: Grabstätte Familie Heinrich Scheven Düsseldorf, Nordfriedhof Düsseldorf: Das 1874 in Bochum gegründete Unternehmen Heinrich Scheven plante und baute Brunnen, zentrale Wasserversorgungsanlagen, Kanalisationen, Kläranlagen, Beleuchtungsanlagen sowie Kur- und Badeanstalten im ganzen Reichsgebiet. 1905 / 1906 wurde zum Beispiel das Wasserwerk von Berlin-Altglienicke gebaut. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt leitete des Gründers Sohn Friedrich Scheven die Firma, da Heinrich Scheven schon 1896 verstorben war. 1982 geriet die Firma Scheven in Konkurs, wurde aber im selben Jahr als Tochtergesellschaft der Bilfinger & Berger AG neugegründet.
