Summary[edit]

Description
English: Top-view rainbow ribbon diagram of a gp41 construct, a parallel coiled-coil hexamer, a trimer surrounded by three other helices in the grooves (Protein Data Bank accession code 1aik). The six chains are colored to distinguish them; the ribbons of the core trimer are colored red-green-blue, while the outer helices are colored gold, cyan and magenta. This is my own work, made with MOLMOL on 8 September 2006, and licensed under the GFDL.
