This fine and very popular Carrot is intermediate as to length between the half long varieties (such as Danvers) and the Scarlet Horn Carrots, but much thicker than the latter, being at the top from four to five inches in diameter. Flesh, bright orange, fine grained and sweet. It is of very fine quality for table use, and equally good for stock. Where other sorts require digging, Oxheart can be easity pulled, making it a par- ticularly desirable sort for soils so stiff and hard that other sorts do notdo well. The flesh is of a beautiful, rich, orange color, and of the finest qual- ity; it is medium early, with small tops. Roots taper slightly but are uniformly stump rooted. Gives great satisfaction in both the market and private garden. Pkt., 5c; oz., 10c; % lb., 25c; lb., SOc, postpaid. ^IMPROVED DANVER'S HALF LONG.
