Description

New Orleans: Good Friday in front of old St. Louis Cathedral in the early 20th century.

Notes: There has been some speculation by local historians that despite the publisher's "Good Friday" caption it may actually show Palm Sunday; note the palm fronds; shadows look to be mid-day rather than evening. Note also ice-cream vendors.
