Description
English: Gold inscribed finger ring with enamelled inscription of late 16th or early 17th century date. External diameter 20mm, internal diameter 17mm and 1.2mm thick. Weight 3.52g.

The ring is formed of a broad flat band, the exterior with ridges in relief at top and bottom and in between the inscription enamelled in black: + IN x GOD x IS x MI x TRUST, with a floral flourish at the end. The enamel is complete.
