| Description |
English: Gogarbank Farm. Most of the land in the near-centre view is used by the Scottish Agricultural Science Services Agency for its plant registration and certification services. New laboratories were built in 2006 507684, just above the obvious patch of experimental plots. The M8 motorway now occupies much of the space left to right along the more distant part of those plots. At the time of the photo the labs were still in Corstorphine. The western boundary, between field and Ratho Park Golf course, is the Union Canal, and the northern boundary the Edinburgh - Glasgow railway. Corstorphine Hill is to the left and Arthur's Seat in the distance. |
