Summary[edit]

Description
English: A fragment of a stone (chlorite) vase (originally 40 cm in diameter) with a depiction of the goddess Nisaba (also Ninibgal or Nidaba), goddess of writing, learning, and the harvest. The cuneiform inscription on the upper part of the vase mentions the name of Entemena, ruler of Lagash. From modern-day Iraq; provenance and date of excavation are unknown. Circa 2430 BCE. On display at the Pergamon Museum, Berlin, Germany. VA 7248.
