Former prison of the regional court Gmünd

| Description |
English: Today privately owned this building was used as prison of the regional court Gmünd and as logding place of the bailiff. Before imprisoned persons were put into the tower of the old castle. With this building a more human form of imprisonment was possible.
Deutsch: Heute ein Privathaus, wurde das Gebäude als Kerker (volkstümlich "Keichn" oder "Kotter") des Landgerichtes Gmünd und als Wohnung des Landgerichtsdieners genützt. Waren die eingekerkerten Personen vorher noch im Turm der alten Burg untergebracht, so war mit diesem Gebäude eine menschlichere Inhaftierung möglich.
