Description
  • Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856–1931). Donna in costume abruzzese. Numero di catalogo: G 0219 (catalogo di grande formato). Gli stessi gioielli e la stessa decorazione tradizionale a stelle appaiono anche in una foto scattata da Francesco Paolo Michetti, di cui in quel periodo Gloeden era ospite a Francavilla a Mare (Chieti). Cm 30,6x40,5. Timbrata e datata: 20-9-09. Una foto di minore formato e rispecchiata ha circolato, da collezione privata, con lo stesso numero di catalogo, ma non è chiaro se il numero sia quello originale o se sia derivato da quello della presente ristampa ingrandita.

The same jewels and dress decoration also appear in a picture taken by Francesco Paolo Michetti, who was then hosting Gloeden in his palace in Francavilla a Mare (Chieti, Italy). Catalogue number: G 218. Cm 20-9-09. Stamped and dated, 20-9-09. There is a smaller (exact size is unknown) version of this image, mirrored, in a private collection, bearing the same catalogue numer, but it is not clear whetehr this was the original number or the number was attributed based on this print.
