  • Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856–1931). Autoritratto come gladiatore. Numero di catalogo: 0061. Cm 15,3x21,5. Questa immagine fu prodotta entro il 1893, quando uno scatto che include Gloeden nel medesimo travestimento fu pubblicato nell'articolo di Ludwig Pietsch (1824-1911), Kunst und Photographie, sulla "Velhagen & Klasings Monatshefte", 1893-94, p. 393. Lo scatto appartiene a un servizio al quale partecipò anche l'amico fotografo Giovanni Crupi, che nel suo catalogo ha questa medesima foto, ma col numero 0061 B, che è forse il numero corretto anche della presente foto, dato che col semplice numero 0061 risulta un duplicato.

VON GLOEDEN / FOTOGRAFIA ARTISTICA / TAORMINA" and "W. von Gloden / Taormina 1902 / Sicilia / deposé". However, this image belongs in a set to which also belonged another image already published in a German magazine in 1893.
