Description
  • Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931). "Prima chiesa pagana - Siracusa". (In realtà: Cripta di San Marziano). Numero di catalogo: 0085 B. Cm 16x22,5. Questa foto risale al viaggio comune fatto da Gloeden e Giovanni Crupi a Siracusa, ed è variante di uno scatto del catalogo di Crupi a sua firma; è quindi forse una di quelle che Gloeden acquistò da Crupi quando l'amico chiuse l'attività a Taormina.
  • English: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931). "The first gentile church - Siracusa". (Actually: Crypt of Saint Marcianus). Catalogue number: 0085 B. Cm 16x22,5. This images was shot during the joint travel at Syracuse with Giovanni Crupi, and is very close to a shot appearing in Crupi's catalogue; possibly being one of those Gloeden bought from him and sold as his own.
