Summary[edit]

Description
  • Italiano: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931), Quattro uomini sulla scalinata di Palazzo Ciàmpoli, Taormina. Dettaglio ingrandito della foto numero di catalogo: 0054. Timbrata, cm 18x24. Nella figura all'estrema sinistra è agevole riconoscere Wilhelm von Gloeden stesso.
  • English: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856-1931), Four people on the stairs of Palazzo Ciàmpoli, Taormina. Magnified detail scanned from the photo with catalogue # 0054. Stamped, cm 18x24. It is easy to spot the man sitting at left as being Wilhelm von Gloeden himself. Since the same group of people appears in the subsequent photo # 58bis, which bears the typical black strip used by Giovanni Crupi, it is easy to assume the author of this shot must have been him, who was a close friend of Gloeden's.
