Description
  • English: Wilhelm von Gloeden (1856–1931), "In Taormina, Fortunata going to draw water". Picture number 0038 B. "Deponirt - 1 Aug 1900". Cm 11x16. Letter "B" in Gloeden's images normally marks the negatives that he bought from other photographers; Gloeden sold them as his own adding the "B" after each catalogue number to avoid confusion with his own numbering. This shot was published before 1899 as a postcard by L. Raccuja crediting Giuseppe Bruno as its author.
