English: Globe pub (site of) 213, Rotherhithe Street, London, SE16 Details of the pub were obtained via the 1856 GPO records. Believed the pub was once called the 'Wheatsheaf' (1767 - 1932) that stood on the north west corner opposite the Three Compasses pub. Images shows the north west corner (left) and the pub would have abutted the building on the left - Globe Wharf. Building on the right is now number 213. |
