Summary[edit]

Description
English: Glamaig viewed from Rubha nam Brathairean (Brothers Point). The mountain, part of the Red Cuilin hills, is 33km distant and viewed directly south. The three layers of headland nearer to the viewpoint are 28, 22 and 11 km distant. The 300mm lens on the Sony A77ii camera (equivalent to 450mm lens on a full-frame camera) appears to compresse the distances. The image has been processed in Lightroom, making use of the dehaze and clarity controls.
