Description Jackie Steiner, lead quality assurance inspector for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, discusses the fabrication of a Tainter gate trunnion assembly during a visit Jan. 31, 2014, to the Oregon Iron Works facility in Clackamas, Ore. Once complete, the gates will be trucked more than 600 miles to Folsom Dam, where they will be installed on a new auxiliary spillway in 2014. Photo cropped for emphasis.
