Description A Soldier from Charlie Company 2/504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, Fort Bragg, N.C., takes cover after exiting a chinook helicopter while participating in Operation Viper in the Baghran Valley of Afghanistan on Feb. 19, 2003. Charlie Company 2/504th were at various villages, during Operation Viper, searching for members of the Taliban and weapons that could be used against forces fighting the war on terrorism in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
