  • DE: Herr Iomella (Jomelli), Kapellmeister bei Seiner Eminenz (Benedikt XIV.
    Jommelli war per Dekret vom 20. April 1749 zum Maestro coadiutore (Vizekapellmeister) der w:Cappella Giulia am w:Petersdom ernannt worden, wo er am 1. Januar 1750 seinen Dienst antreten sollte. Er ließ jedoch diesen Termin verstreichen und begab sich stattdessen zur Aufführung der Opera buffa L’uccellatrice nach Venedig. Möglicherweise hoffte er, nach der überaus erfolgreichen Wiener Saison eine Anstellung in Wien zu erhalten. Die Congregazione di Santa Cecilia wollte daraufhin den Vertrag rückgängig machen, doch Papst setzte sich persönlich für Jommelli ein, der seinen Dienst am 14. Juni 1750 schließlich antrat.
