Summary[edit]

Description
English: Getting in close to Bass Rock The best way to get in close to Bass Rock is in a sea kayak, and for wildlife photographs you can't beat a double so the front paddler can have both hands free to operate the camera. Here Pete and Wendy Bridgstock of Swaledale Outdoor Club nudge in towards a cave from which the sounds of seals echoed eerily whilst gannets wheeled and screamed above.
