Summary[edit]

Description

A UK-supported scheme in Nepal is helping make sure children go to school rather than work in fields.

Giving rural farmers access to better seeds and advice on how to plant and grow vegetables and fruits means that their crop yields are better - which in turn means that they have produce they can sell. This means that they can build a better income and afford to employ people to help farm their fields, rather than having to get their children to do it.
