English: Retaliation warning issued by the commander of the German Occupation Forces in Greece during WWII. One page, 32 cm x 43 cm. In private collection. Part of the text reads: "In the future, for each German soldier killed, 50 Greeks will be executed, and for each Geman soldier wounded, 10 Greeks [will be executed]."
Ελληνικά: Προειδοποίηση για αντίποινα που εξέδωσε ο διοικητής των Γερμανικών Δυνάμεων Κατοχής στην Ελλάδα κατά τον Β΄ ΠΠ. Μονόφυλλο, 32 cm x 43 cm. Σε ιδιωτική συλλογή. Μέρος του κειμένου αναφέρει: «Εἰς τὸ μέλλον διὰ κάθε φονευόμενον Γερμανὸν στρατιώτην, θὰ ἐκτελοῦνται 50 Ἕλληνες, διὰ κάθε δὲ τραυματιζόμενον Γερμανὸν στρατιώτην 10 Ἕλληνες [θὰ ἐκτελοῦνται].»
