Description 110704-N-TH989-027 Mazar-e Sharif, Afghanistan. (July 4, 2011) Just a few meters after exiting their patrol vehicles, soldiers of the Camp Marmal Force Protection Group are already surrounded by curious children. Force protection group soldiers of the International Security Assistance Force’s Regional Command North are responsible for protecting Camp Marmal and its airfield against intrusion attempts and attacks, as well the protection of aircraft during takeoff and landing.
