Description
English:

George Frederick Frye was born in Germany and came to Seattle in 1853 at the age of 20, where he became a successful businessman. Here, in his seventies, Frye (center passenger, in dark suit) enjoys a woodsy drive with family and friends. His daughter, Sophie sits in the front seat, and his wife, Louisa Catherine (in white scarf) sits in the back seat. The other passengers and the driver are unidentified."
