Deutsch: Bildnis einer fürstlichen Dame als Jägerin. Dreiviertelfigur leicht nach links, den Kopf nach rechts gewandt. Mit Jagdhund. Vor weiter Landschaft mit Jagdgesellschaft. Rücks. neuzeitliche Identifizierung der Dargestellten als Maria Theresia Gräfin von Preysing, geb. Gräfin von Seinsheim (1743-1776). Öl auf Lwd. 164,5 x 123,5 cm. Doubliert. Rest. Besch. Rahmen min. besch.
Möglicherweise handelt es sich um ein Bildnis der bayerischen Kurfürstin Maria Anna Sophie, Prinzessin von Polen und Sachsen (1728 Dresden - 1797 München), die 1747 Kurfürst Maximilian III. Joseph von Bayern geheiratet hatte. Physiognomische Übereinstimmungen sprechen für eine solche Identifizierung, allerdings ist die vorliegende Perückenform bislang bei keinem anderen Porträt der Kurfürstin nachzuweisen. |
