| Description |
English: General's Loch The loch marked on the map is no more. I am indebted to Mr Alastair Gentleman who tells me that it was built by General Stronach shortly after the First World War. It was packed with trout and the crofters had a right to the fishing. The dam was breached within the last ten years or so because it was falling into disrepair. The faint hill on the skyline is Cranstackie. |
